⏱️Downtime
Minimal. Temporary redness or sensitivity for a few hours; avoid heat, friction and sun for 24–48 hours.
🔁Time between visits
Every 3–4 weeks as hair regrows to about ¼ inch.
📋Before your visit
- Let hair grow to about ¼ inch (roughly 2 weeks of regrowth).
- Gently exfoliate 24–48 hours before to free ingrowns.
- Avoid sun, tanning and self-tanner for 24 hours before.
- Skip retinoids on the area for several days beforehand.
- Arrive with clean, product-free skin on the area.
🧖After your visit
- Avoid heat — sauna, hot showers, hot yoga — for 24–48 hours.
- Skip friction, tight clothing and workouts for about 24 hours.
- No sun or tanning on the area for 24–48 hours; use SPF after.
- Wait 24–48 hours before exfoliating, then exfoliate 2–3× a week to prevent ingrowns.
- Keep the area clean and moisturized with a gentle, non-irritating lotion.
🏠Caring for your skin between visits
- Exfoliate gently 2–3 times a week to prevent ingrown hairs.
- Moisturize daily to keep skin soft and hair easy to remove.
- Avoid shaving between appointments so waxing stays effective.
- Use SPF on exposed waxed areas.
