  • Skip strong exfoliating acids or retinol for 1–2 days before advanced treatments.
  • For waxing, let hair grow to about ¼ inch; avoid sun or tanning for 24 hours before.
  • Tell us about any medications, allergies or skin conditions so we can tailor your treatment safely.
  • Hydrate well and avoid heavy sun exposure the day before.

Post-visit checklist

  • Wear SPF and avoid direct sun — essential after any facial in the Florida sun.
  • Skip heavy makeup for about 24 hours after a facial.
  • Avoid heat — sauna, hot yoga, hot showers — for 24–48 hours.
