Pre-visit checklist
- Come with clean skin if you can, and arrive 5–10 minutes early for your consultation.
- Skip strong exfoliating acids or retinol for 1–2 days before advanced treatments.
- For waxing, let hair grow to about ¼ inch; avoid sun or tanning for 24 hours before.
- Tell us about any medications, allergies or skin conditions so we can tailor your treatment safely.
- Hydrate well and avoid heavy sun exposure the day before.
Post-visit checklist
- Wear SPF and avoid direct sun — essential after any facial in the Florida sun.
- Skip heavy makeup for about 24 hours after a facial.
- Avoid heat — sauna, hot yoga, hot showers — for 24–48 hours.
- Keep skin hydrated and follow the at-home care your esthetician recommends.
- After waxing, avoid friction, exfoliation and heat for 24–48 hours.
