Just as important: lock in your product routine now. Whatever you're using on your wedding day should already be familiar to your skin. No new experiments after this point.

1 month out — Hydrate & glow

Bridal Skin-Prep Do's and Don'ts

A few rules I promise are worth following:

Do start early, stay consistent, wear SPF daily, drink your water, and keep your routine simple. Do a trial of your wedding-day skincare (and makeup) well ahead of time. Do tell your esthetician your exact date at the very first visit so we can time everything around it.

Don't try any new product or treatment in the final two to three weeks — the risk of a reaction isn't worth it. Don't pick at or extract anything yourself, ever, and especially not the week of. Don't over-exfoliate in a panic; stripped skin looks worse, not better. And don't book your first-ever facial the week of your wedding — save new experiences for after the honeymoon.
